Sacajawea Chapter NSDAR Colonial Life Program - May 2017
Shirley Stirling, Teacher Mrs. Stottlemyer, Joyce Dupont, Ann Shipley, Diane Smith, and Jeanne Pittenger delighting in their work putting the 5th grade weavings into a wall hanging. It won a First Prize ribbon at the county fair and is now on display at Griffin School. It will be auctioned off as a fundraiser at the end of the 2017-2018 school year.

Each student had tiny loom that they used to learn to weave, as in colonial days, and each produced a small weaving.
