Since 1906, the Sacajawea Chapter NSDAR has promoted literacy, historic preservation, good citizenship, love of country and knowledge of the U.S. Constitution.
​
Named to honor Sacajawea, the Shoshone woman who aided the historic Lewis and Clark expedition, this chapter commemorates her spirit through community service. Over the years, chapter members have volunteered to support our military since WWI, assisted in schools with education of our community's children, and honored and maintained historic sites and artifacts.

Chapter Meetings

The first Saturday of each month, September through June, with a social time at 9:30 a.m. followed by a meeting at 10 a.m. In addition to business meetings we have interesting programs and speakers. Guests are welcome.

Chapter Organization

Our chapter is governed by members who are elected to serve as an executive board for a possible two year term. All members may assume chapter responsibilities and/or aid other members to reach our goals in serving our communities.

Chapter Membership

Any woman at least 18 years of age, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible.
